From Ally to Accomplice: Acting in Solidarity Against Injustice FULL
Limited Capacity full

“I want someone to do more than just feel for me. I want someone to do more than just listen to my pain. I want someone to be more than an ally, I want them to be an accomplice.” -L. Follins This interactive workshop is intended to provoke thinking around the continuum of ally-ship work. It will introduce participants to the concept of being ally in relation to combatting social injustice against marginalized groups, explore the do’s and don’ts of being an ally, raise understanding of why allies are important, and increase effective ally behavior.
